How many times have you heard through the corporate media that “Ron Paul will never win,” or that he is a fringe candidate or even that he is some sort of weird “kook”? “He talks about the Fed, gold, and non-interventionism,” after all. Weirdo. But have you ever stopped to consider why exactly this man is so detested and feared by the Establishment? Maybe you should do just a little bit of research for yourself before you make up your mind. Most Americans sadly–and quite correctly–believe their elected representatives no longer represent the will of their constituents. With so much money dominating politics, our once-proud Republic has deteriorated into a system of, by, and for the monied interests–the People be damned. Career politicians’ loyalty lies only with whoever will enable their reelection, and least of all to the People and to the Constitution they took a solemn oath to protect.

But what if there were a man whose character were so incorruptible that the lobbyists do not even bother to step foot into his office? What if there were a man who refused to accept the largess his privileged position afforded him (like a hefty Congressional pension and first-rate medical plan)? What if there were a man who consistently refunds surplus office funds back to the Treasury and the taxpayers? What if there were a man who kept to the courage of his convictions no matter which way the prevailing winds of the moment blew, even if he were the only member in both houses of Congress to dissent? What if…?

There is such a man. He is a doctor, veteran, and reluctant public servant, not a career politician. He is an economist and thinker, who for decades has warned and described in detail the inevitable economic calamity the US has been approaching through its continually-recycled, failed policies. And he is utterly the beyond the control of the ruling Establishment.

There is such a man. His name is Ron Paul.

Ignored and Ridiculed by the Establishment Right and Left

Let there be no doubt that, due to the utter inability of the Establishment to corrupt and control him, Ron Paul does not receive anything even loosely resembling equal treatment by the dying, yet still formidable, corporate press. He is the ONLY candidate running in either party who represents a real threat to the ruling elite. The Establishment Right and Left may jostle each other for control of the reins of power, but the horse is always headed down the same path, regardless of who happens to be in the saddle at a given time. Whether FOX, MSNBC, or CNN, whether Republican or Democrat, whether “Right” or “Left,” to all of these agents of control, Ron Paul represents an existential threat to the current ruling order, and they will do everything they possibly can to ignore, ridicule, and/or attack him.

Unparalleled Commitment to Liberty

So we see that Ron Paul’s consistency and commitment to his ideals are virtually incorruptible. We see that the Establishment is quaking in their boots at the thought of the first non-puppet in decades coming into power and shutting down their ready-made, corporate-crony system of money-for-influence domination.

But what we also see is, despite the Establishment’s best efforts, Ron Paul’s message only grows. And the reason is quite simple: to paraphrase Victor Hugo, “no army can stop an idea whose time has come.” You see, for all his fine personal qualities of character, Ron Paul is simply the messenger. It is his honest, consistent message of Liberty, of sound money, of adherence to the Constitution and the wisdom of the Founders, that has set alight brush fires in the minds of so many Americans. And these grassroots leaders have only continued to swell their numbers, as more and more people are reintroduced to the core concepts that made the United States the most free and prosperous society in the history of the planet.

But don’t just take my word for it… see for yourself. “The ‘R3volution’ will not be televised,”–that much is certain–but that has NOT stopped the message of freedom from growing and surging. Perhaps Ron Paul has just helped guide the People right back to where they’ve been wanting to go…
